Teddy and Sam meet at a dinner party thrown by mutual friends. Teddy discounts the notion that a meaningful relationship is possible between two men, and Sam doesn’t seem inclined to challenge it. But a random event after dinner brings them closer together, and their actions after that give us a chance to contemplate the story question, which is: Can two men have an honest relationship?
